Offensive AI Con (OAIC) is an invite-only, not-for-profit research conference organized by RemoteThreat. We bring researchers and practitioners together to advance offensive cyber through AI.
OAIC brings technical research into direct conversation with practical experience. The programme examines how AI changes vulnerability discovery, exploit development, and offensive capability, with space to question methods, compare results, and discuss responsible use.

Chris Thompson of RemoteThreat founded OAIC as a forum dedicated to the offensive use of AI. Will Pearce and Nick Landers of Dreadnode helped bring the idea to life, alongside Kristen Del Roso’s experience organizing ChinaCon. The format drew inspiration from LabsCon’s community ethos, with a curated setting for technical exchange and relationships.
OAIC began in Oceanside, California, in October 2025. The first conference brought researchers and practitioners together for technical presentations, discussion, and time to connect beyond the sessions.
The second edition returned to Oceanside in October 2026. Shared meals and private evening gatherings remain part of a deliberately small conference built for collaboration.

OAIC is deliberately kept small to encourage candid technical discussion and lasting connections. Original research, concrete methods, and practical findings shape the programme.
The conference is organized by RemoteThreat and run not for profit, with a focus on research and collaboration in a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment.
